So he is an Australian GP, somebody who calls themselves an integrative GP.
These are new terms that we're seeing and ostensibly means it's a GP who will look to kind of traditional and complementary medicines alongside, you know, mainstream biomedicine.
But it is also a little bit of a dog whistle within these communities.
And so...

I don't know how she found him.
What seems to happen in these groups is that you are forbidden to mention what they call a Lyme literate GP in the group because APRA is revoking their licenses and they are getting consequences for their practices.

What they do is they recommend you basically DM somebody and they will tell you who a good Lyme literate GP is.
So it's possible that that's how Lauren met him.
And she was seeing him over video call and she was flying to Sydney to see him regularly for a really long time.
He was ordering a lot of tests regularly.
that would be sent overseas.
These are sort of tests that aren't performed.
They're not covered under Medicare.
So she was spending an extortionate amount of money with him, and he really was pushing her to do a sort of treatment where –
She would fly up to Sydney a few times a week.
She would get really strong intravenous antibiotics and then she would fly back and she would do that every week for five years and then go to Cyprus to have some more ozone therapy and things like that.
And when she didn't have the means for it, um, he called my auntie and really just berated her into paying for it.
