In fact, he invited them for lunch.

And he has not ever at any step of the process not admitted any wrongdoing but even seemed to comprehend any wrongdoing.

He really just thinks that this was a terrible thing

He had mentioned he'd had another patient who had had kidney failure and said, well, this can happen.

But he couldn't point to a reason why she had died or how he could have prevented that, even though

as a completely uneducated in the medical profession person, I could think of many ways that he could have prevented that.

So no remorse, no... No, no, I would say no remorse.

It was as if he had, you know, bumped somebody's car and was apologetic in the sense that, oh...

That's a real bummer, but no accountability or any sense that he himself had caused irrevocable harm.

Yeah.

I mean, they're, they're, my family are doing, have launched proceedings, but in the Malaysian medical system and the Malaysian legal system, you know, it's a, it's a different system to, to navigate.

But at the end of the day, it's also difficult when you look at

you know, procedures like this because they aren't regulated.

There isn't a best practice or a standard of practice for doing a treatment that should not be performed.

So it's a very, what I've learned is a very strange kind of area.
