But what I've learned to, I guess, assist with that is I spent a lot of time thinking about Lauren's
life and the lives of others like her who are so focused on being well and their wellness regimes are so strict.
Lauren at one point was eating only leafy greens, bone broth and a kind of kefir slop thing that she made herself.
and that's what she ate and she was doing you know the coffee enemas needed to be done at a certain time of day spaced apart and so I looked at this was somebody who was this is the pinnacle of wellness that she was living everything was so nutrient dense and she was being so regimented she would never touch a potato chip or anything like that but because of that
Because of being so healthy, she couldn't go out and see her friends.
She couldn't go and travel.
She couldn't eat out.
She couldn't, you know, work.
Her life was so restricted.
Yeah.
She couldn't do what life is about, what living is about.
And so when I think of that, when I think, oh, I might be sick or this could be bad or, you know, do I have ALS because my left arm hurts or any of those things, which I experience all the time, I then think,
Maybe, but what would once have been a propensity to check and fix it?
I'm going to have control over this.
I'm going to be on the front foot here.
I'm not going down to this.
I'm ordering a juice cleanse and it will be here tomorrow.
That type of thing, which I would have once engaged in, I now pause and think, well, okay, let's just say that something isn't going right.
I don't want to force myself into a restricted life just on the off chance there's something wrong.
I'm going to make the active choice to see a doctor that I trust, that I've met, that I've formed a relationship with.
