As somebody who was, you know, early 20s, late teens, the idea of your entire life being dominated by this pain with no way forward is horrible.
And then she received a diagnosis of POTS at one point, but soon she stumbled across chronic Lyme disease or Lyme disease, and that was really the last diagnosis that she had.

She was told that it was possible that she could have Lyme disease from the trip to Disneyland or potentially because she has a cat or she had a cat at the time.
But we know, you know, here in Australia that people
The idea of contracting Lyme disease in Australia from a cat is so minimal.
So Lyme disease is a tick-borne disease.
It's caused by a bacteria that is carried by a certain breed of tick.
And when you get bitten by that tick, typically what you would see is a bullseye-shaped rash is one of the most early symptoms.
And then you do get really significant symptoms that are flu-like symptoms, a lot of brain fog and kind of neurological symptoms that
And it can be extremely, extremely dangerous.
And so where Lyme disease is endemic, there's no doubt that it's a big problem and needs timely medical intervention.

I guess, muddied waters of this is when we talk about chronic Lyme disease.
Yolanda Hadid has chronic Lyme disease and that's disputed as a diagnosis around the world.
