Certainly Wales and Scotland have a lot of thinking to do as they go away into this break.
But for Ireland, next year, 2027, is how they fare up away from home.
How can they do it and how can they manage it away from home on the occasion of being the
the opposition coming into the house of everybody else, especially with such a target on their back with the manner of the defeats they've shipped out this year, which is going to be exciting to see how that fares.
But yeah, welcoming the likes of England and France, I know it was talked about as like, who do we get to bring to the Aviva?
Is it going to be the French or is it going to be the English?
And I know those things are probably behind the scenes already confirmed, but I would just love to see the French being brought to the Aviva and for it to be that kind of, almost like the finish in a trilogy of
We could technically have said we played them three times over the last few years in Six Nations and in World Cup and just been frustrated beyond belief at how results went.
And it's more frustrating that you haven't been bet off the park and you've just been your own worst enemies at times in those games to not be able to get across the edge.
So I think from that point of view, it definitely gives food for thought as to
where the girls align their goals for the next campaign and beyond is like, what's the next target?
You know, you can talk about closing the gap, but like, how are you going to do that?
What are the next steps involved in bridging that gap and in catching, you know, first and foremost, catching the French and then how do you level up with an English team who, despite shipping about 12 injuries, are still ultimately very dominant and are still, unfortunately for everybody else, finishing the top of a leaderboard.
So yeah, it's going to make for an intriguing kind of break and roll into the next campaign.
Yeah, it'll be interesting.
I'd say we always have that where you'd like to see a little bit more depth introduced to it.
But I suppose so much can change around then because there's talk of obviously the summer intrapros will be happening with the provincial rugby.
Will the contracts of players be released out to play in that?
hopefully yes because you'll see all the english players sink back into the prem rugby very soon and make that competition really kind of tip top so for our home competition the next level up past ail you'd love to see them being integrated back into provincial rugby and having to crack off each other and that and that would make it a real spicy affair as to who gets selected for wxv1 do the same group get selected have they done enough from a six nations campaign to earn their spot back on the
back in the camp the next time it comes around or how much depth has been added does he take this as a yearly block and make it a six nations and a wxv1 before using next six nations as a kind of integrated thing your guess is as good as mine in that front you definitely love to see the likes of a katrina finn perhaps coming in there for a bit more game time but does does she get trusted with that in that nature of a wxv1 competition
