And my father managed, he had really bad seats, but a friend had given him really good seats, two seats behind the dugout that he could call out to the player.

So my brother and I sat there for a little while.

I was 10, my brother was five.

My brother's yelling out to the player and this guy turns around and he says to my brother, shut up.

You're yelling too loudly.

And I said, you don't have to shut up.

You can yell as loud as you want.

And come on, I'm 10 years old.

This is an adult male with a beard.

He grabs me by the shirt collar and pulls me forward and says, you tell him to shut up.

um he's giving my what he's giving my girlfriend a headache he'd tell him to shut up and he kind of throws me back and i'm like stunned so we went back up to our regular seats i didn't say anything my dad for a second but he could see the look on my face and i told him the story and my father just went storming down and i'm watching through binoculars and my father is standing behind him just screaming

in his ear as loud as he can.

And then he starts pushing the guy to go, the universal symbol of let's go outside and settle this.

And the people came out and broke it all up.

And my father came back, he goes, you guys can go sit back there.

And I'm like, no, dad, we're pretty good with you.

So that's one of my favorite memories of my dad.

I've used that in books more than once.

Yeah, she was flightier and she was eccentric.

She was quirky.
