How did he push me to succeed without ever making me feel like he was pushing me?

How did he love so unconditionally, but wanting still to make you succeed and please him without making it a precondition?

He was one of the calmest fathers I ever saw.

It won't sound sweet, but it really was sweet.

He took us to a baseball game.

This is a big tradition in America.

And my younger brother had this player that he loved on this other team.

And my father managed, he had really bad seats, but a friend had given him really good seats, two seats behind the dugout that he could call out to the player.

So my brother and I sat there for a little while.

I was 10, my brother was five.

My brother's yelling out to the player and this guy turns around and he says to my brother, shut up.
