I mean the first time I remember the first when they gave us the series and then because like the pilot we had like you know we had ages although it was supposed to be about the week's TV you know you could have a couple of weeks either side really and but then when they gave us the series so basically I had to sit down never having done it really sitting down on a Saturday to write the show that we'd recorded on the

first day oh i'm out i'm out can't do it too stressed yeah yeah it was like you know what i can't do this but then uh but then it sort of got exciting and actually by the end of it didn't faze me at all really yeah i was just thinking i can do you know just what was great about it was it i learned it taught me that

You know, I mean, it wasn't just me, obviously, we had lots of contributors and often they would have whole, they'd come in with like a whole bit that they'd worked out, you know.

So, but they never had to actually put it together.

That was the thing.

So like we'd have the meeting, we'd have the meeting, right, which was, we'd all bring in our clips and,

you know, stuff that we watched.

Yeah, some of it.

And I would write, you know, write down in books all this goat looks like a, you know, man looks like a, rockery looks like a man's face was one I remember.

I remember David Quantic coming in and saying, oh yeah, I found a rockery on Emmerdale that looks like a man's face.
