So I could see this as sort of like, hey, this is like a lot of work and a hassle when we get these contracts and it really doesn't provide much benefit.

So this is one where to me it makes sense for both sides, let's just get rid of these.

I don't really think it added a lot of value other than it gave some gems away to show that they're smart and creative.

Yeah, and this is a good point to all time to also mention.

So far, all there is is a memo of of these key points.

So the full C V A has not been written.

And so this is one in particular when it came out of the memo, I was told there still needs to be some more language worked out uh on exactly how this will work and if there's some exception for it.

Um obviously the C V A hasn't been written yet, but it's going to affect this year, so they're gonna have to quickly figure out exactly

To some of the nuances, but the the understanding right now is that yeah, if a player is sent to the minors, before they can be called up again, they must play at least one game in the AHL.

So that would impact teams that send players down um like on on their NHL off days and then call them back up.

Um and so that way they can save space and accursive space on those off days.

Well, you could still do something similar.

The difference is now is they have to stay.

Down long enough to play one one game in the miners, one AHL game.

So it r definitely reduces the um you know the frequency that would happen, I would think.

Especially, you know, I think a lot of times they would do those transactions but time it in a way where actually, oh too it's too late, there's no flights for the guy today, so he's just gonna stay in the NHL city and then get called up the next day and actually have to travel.

Um obviously now though, if he has to play an HL.

game it's gonna require more travel, so it's not really paper anymore.

The guy's gonna really have to move and go meet the team and play a game.

Because their AHL team is not only not closer to another country, um, very far away.
