Good. Uh you're the perfect guy to bring on right now because over the course of the last couple days, uh were you surprised that some of these implement uh and we'll tell you that the uh the coaches and the managers are going through their meetings and that sort of thing, and I know there there's been some reports on that, but are you surprised how quickly some of the implement implementations and changes have occurred uh pertaining to the NHS? salary cap, which frankly I gotta tell you, is about a year ahead of what I thought was going to happen, Hart.

Yeah, I was shocked. Um the the new C V A doesn't start for for a year, um almost a year exactly. And so we thought some rules might go into effect like for July first, um, but did not expect anything to go into effect for this season. And I wasn't the only one shocked. Um teams had absolutely no idea that this was coming. I spoke to people a number of people with teams, they were they were shocked, they didn't even find out about it. I uh like there was stuff distributed through the NHL PA um before it had even gone to Teams. And so these GMs were going to the meetings in Detroit and like while they were traveling they found out from like my report and some other reports out there. So um yeah, they they were not expecting it either.

Yeah, so that I'll this season for the first time there'll be a salary cap in the playoffs. Um it's the same cap limit as during the regular season. So this year that's ninety five point five million. But the calculation is different. Um so it it's only the twenty players that are dressed for the game. So in the regular season i injured players scratches count towards the cap. In the playoffs it's only uh the players that are dressed and therefore it's only a cap like for the actual game. It doesn't matter what you do on the off days, like it's not like in the regular season where there's transactions to make.
