And I didn't realize that how useful that was in comedy, which is if you do multiple sets a night, most comedians working in New York City will do three, four, five sets a night.
If you had a bad early show, let it go.
Now you have to read where the room is at right now.
That's your next possession.
And adjust accordingly.
And the best comedians are able to just let that previous show go.
And be completely in the moment.
And then also be able to bomb graciously.
Like, all right, I missed that free throw.
I had a bad set.
Like, it happens.
