So because, right, remember, all the other things that this president has done that have actually discouraged domestic investment.
He tore up all sorts of programs, great programs, by the way, that we've put in place during the Biden-Harris administration that would encourage investment in
high-tech domestic industries.
And President Trump has been like, nope, don't want to do that.
Don't want to do that.
And then he put these tariffs up thinking that would solve the problem.
It's such a misguided effort.
And I think what is hard is that
What we want to see is good investment around the country that's creating these good jobs.
And the fact that, you know, as Bharat said, you know, he likes tariffs.
But why?
Why does he like tariffs?
He doesn't like them necessarily because they create good jobs.
He couldn't care less about that, it seems like.
Or, you know, I don't I can't read his mind.
But based on his actions, it's not leading to the things that really matter for American the American worker.
Heather?
They can always be reversed with new legislation.
I think that so often people will talk about them as permanent because it is proved to be year after year really hard to undo tax cuts once they're in place.
I mean, it's really interesting because a tariff is just a tax.
