You've seen what he's done in the game and just having him back there and he's got that real hatred towards Queensland and I feel like you need that.

Yeah, man, everything, mate.

It's what I've dreamt about as a kid for so long.

And like I said after the game, I sat for so many years sitting there watching at home on your lounge and you just always dreamt that if you got the opportunity, I always told myself if I did, I'd give it everything.

And I think any time you pull on that Blues jersey, you need to go after it.

And yeah, I was just so happy and relieved to win a series up there and to do it with such a great group of guys.

Yeah, well, we knew we spoke about all week.

We knew that what we're in for and for anyone that's played up there knows exactly what it's like.

And yeah, we just had to walk towards that.

We couldn't walk away from it or anything like that.

We had to stand up and walk towards it for our state and for all the people and the fans supporting us.

So we knew what was at stake and went after it as players and the game turned out well.

And I thought the first set of the game sort of set that big Barney charge into him and just give you energy and, yeah, wanted to do the same.

I think you see what he does every week at Penrith and to go into camps with him and see the way he trains, the way he prepares, you can just see why he's the best in the game.

I'm just so happy for him as a person off the field as well.

He's a great bloke and he puts so much time and effort into his game and for him to be rewarded.

On Wednesday, yeah, he worked hard for that.

Yeah, it's pretty inspiring to hear what he's gone through and to come out on the other side, the resilience that he's built as a person, losing both partners.
