Yeah.

Quick story on that.

I threw the ball up into the grandstand between the 18th green and the pro shop, you know, the, the, the,

clubhouse was there as i threw it that grandstand there i threw it and in 2000 i was in sydney at the australian olympics and i met someone at the pool at the hotel was staying at the star city hotel in sydney and the guy said uh hey good to see you i was at the open 91 said oh that's great yeah it was fun you know whatever he said i caught your ball

And I'm like, oh yeah, you, you and a hundred others.

He said, no, no, I have it.

It was a number one with two little pencil marks underneath the number.

And I said, yes, it was a Royal Max fly.

Uh, and I always marked with it.

We didn't have Sharpies in those days.

We just used the pencil and I'd put two little dots underneath the number on both sides of the ball.

And I said, really?

He said, yeah, I have it.

I'll send it to you.

And I said, I'll send you whatever you like.

He said, do you have a glove and a photo or something like that?

I said, yep, I'll sign a ball or sign a glove or send a photo.

And he sent me the ball.

So the actual ball that I used is in the archives at Royal Birkdale with everything else.
