I mean, just reflecting on it, the resilience that McElroy showed, because...

I think we said it in the mini-pod, there was a period in the early stages, the double bogey on four, the bogey on six, where I thought the story was just in rows.

I thought McElroy had gone, and all along I always felt that when he was six shots clear at halfway, that that was a false reading.

That was like putting out really encouraging inflation figures, knowing that

the price of oil is going through the roof.

And, you know, it's not going to, in the long term, it's just not going to be a good story.

And that's what I thought was going to happen with McElroy.

But the fact that he had a sniff of winning...

And I think, and judging, you'll be able to hear in the interview that we did, I just got the feeling that he thought, you know, this is my green jacket and someone's going to have to wrestle it off me and ultimately I'm going to find a way to cling on to it.

We went over to the press building, which is where we did the Cipollata, Andrew, as you know.

And we got word that at five to nine, myself, Greg Allen from RTE, and Stephen Watson and Gary McCutcheon from BBC Northern Ireland would be buggyed up to the clubhouse.

And we thought, five to nine, that'd be fantastic.

You know, we could be out of here by ten o'clock.

Well, we got buggyed up to the clubhouse and...

taken into a room Amanda was there from CBS Todd Lewis from the Golf Channel Jamie Weir from Sky and they've all got loads of producers and everything and everyone's just sitting around and for McElroy he's now into the phase of being in the grill room

and the club areas glad-handing all the members.

And last year he shook hands with every single member of the Augusta National.

And I think something similar happened this time around again.
