And that saddens me to hear a player who feels that it can be as simple as that and not as challenging off the tee.
But it's among so many golf courses where they have cleared so many trees.
And...
I think it'll be a really good test.
It's a historic golf course, obviously.
We've not had a USPGA here at this course, a major, other than the one time in the men's game in the early 1960s when Gary Player won.
So it's a relatively new test, although players were here in 2018 for the BMW Championship and a few years earlier when Justin Rose was a winner here.
But I think the course has changed in character somewhat since then.

Obviously, you want to win every tournament that you play, but the fact that you weren't grinding at the top of the leaderboard at the end at Quail Hollow, you could be, in a sense, preparing for this and perhaps taking a little less out of the battery.
Is that fair to say?

We all know what an extraordinary achievement a career Grand Slam is.
A Grand Slam in a year, you're the only one that can do it.
