The NFL, when it first started, when it came over in the 80s, by fluke, I saw the highlights of Super Bowl XV on Dickie Davis World of Sport, if you're old enough to remember that.
I loved the wrestling.
Giant Haystacks, Big Daddy, I sat there waiting for that to come on.
And he just said, oh, here's the highlights from the Super Bowl.
And it was the greatest game I'd ever witnessed.
Super Bowl XV, Eagles, Raiders.
It's an 11-year-old boy.

um and i wanted to watch more of the super bowl didn't know it's called the nfl the year after channel 4 coverage started i started following it uh then as the coverage died off um i came away from it and auntie babs um i'd moved to america she met a u.s air crewman who uh bizarrely flew into blackbush airport which is about half mile down the road from where i work um and they um
When they left the UK in 1974, they went back and ended up living in Jacksonville at the Air Force Base.
That was his last posting.
So it was held in Jacksonville.
