Aunty Babs came over to visit her sister.

We went around to visit.

I heard her on the phone talking to Uncle Charles back in the States about 62-7 demolition of the Miami Dolphins.

And I went, I remember the Miami Dolphins.

Dan Marino still played.

And she went, yeah, yeah, we benched him.

We benched him.

Half an hour later, we caught up on the NFL game.

There was a new team called the Browns that wasn't the Cleveland Browns.

There's a new team called the Ravens that were the Browns.

There's a team called the Houston Oilers and now the Tennessee Titans.

She invited us out to Jacksonville in that May of 2000.

I went out there, absolutely loved it.

Threw my lot in with the Jacksonville Jaguars that just lost the AFC Championship game.

Loved the logo, loved the teal.

And then it was 26 years of basic misery, of a fluky season every seven years or so.

And then Shaq Khan changed the logo.

We stopped playing in teal.

So, yeah, it's been a rollercoaster ride.

But had it not been for Aunty Babs, yeah, I'd probably still support the Raiders, I suppose.
