I mean I know that we also at one point had an Und Under the Influence podcast, but we don't talk about that.
How do I find the confidence to push forward when others push back?
Well, I will say I was pretty lucky in that
I don't think either of my parents were that hard pushing back on me.
Um my mom is Chinese and so I think, of course, of the two, at least initially, she was more apprehensive than my dad.
Especially because my dad, post graduating college, decided he wanted to write a book.
And so he I think he kind of understood the vibes of like chasing the dream post college.
But I think for my mom, she was a bit more apprehensive.
But she was never unsupportive.
Like she was never like, That's a bad idea.
She just kind of like, Are you sure it's a good idea?
It sounds like you're receiving a bit more resistance than I was.
So I guess I'm just saying all that to s to lead off with I might not be the most qualified to answer this question, but I'm gonna answer this question.
Well, okay.
I guess there's two questions here.
One, how do you find the confidence despite getting your parents or family disapproval?
