And, uh, it's, it's quite, uh, unbearable, uh, that, you know, I'm, I'm coming back to the announcements this morning by the Israeli ministry of defense, uh, cuts.
Uh, he knows that he can openly do a press conference and say, the army has been ordered to ethnically cleanse a total refugee camp, another refugee camp and totally destroy it.
And, uh,
I haven't heard even responses from ambassadors or embassies or legations in Israel on the ground to this, let alone any official government.
It seems like people say, yes, well, that's what the Israelis do.
What can we do?
But I hope that someone will wake up, because every response...
like this encourages worse actions in the future.
Well, every ideology to begin with has...
precepts, principles, assumptions, if you want, that remain as long as the ideological movement is alive, whether as a movement or as a state.
However, the implementation of these principles, the vision, changes with time according to the capacity of the movement or the state, the resistance to the policies, and so on.
So I think the difference between Zionism and Neo-Zionism is not so much in the change of the basic vision, namely that Palestine was and has to be a Jewish state or Jewish homeland.
And every means is justified in achieving that vision.
And nothing on the ground, including the presence of millions of indigenous people, is not going to change it.
In this respect, these are variations of the theme, if you want.
However, if you look at more classical Zionism, so to speak, or mainstream Zionism over the years,
there was an awareness that there is a limit to the implementation.
And even if there are challenges because of
self-limitations that the movement itself imposed on itself.
This is a price to be paid because of the complex reality on the ground.
