So I guess that's what shocked me being so close to World Cup.

Yeah, I think so.

It can leave a sour taste.

But it'll still carry on.

You know, I think, you know, Ruan was a phenomenal addition and investment into that Ulster side.

And the whole, you know, I look at that Ulster organisation and they benefited from his time.

You know, James won't be forgotten.

His influence and his impact on this current squad over the last nine seasons is immense and will continue on.

But there'll be another change.

James Lowe somewhere down the track.

That's what we do know and that's the side of professional sport that we just have to be aware of and we'll always be there.

One thing that sort of sticks out, we were all preparing for this blazing 25 degree dry pitch in Spain and it just sounded wonderful and sounded amazing.

And then of course, obviously the heavens opened up and it was a different style of play even from the captain's run the day before, but it's a phenomenal stadium.

There's so much history and lineage to that stadium.

The fact that rugby hadn't been played there, the whole ethos behind Bilbao as a football club and how they recruit from within

the the area and and it's it's a fascinating story that's um added to the occasion we tried not to overthink that obviously but it's pretty cool afterwards when you sort of do some digging and find that out so yeah it's a real amphitheater though um it's hollowed out into the the center of that um area and part of the city so it's yeah it's a pretty cool stadium to be a part of um

And it was so colourful and so loud and everything you'd want from a final.

It was, yes, a real special day.
