Today's episode is a bit of a Wimbledon reunion because we've got two guests who together have called dozens of matches at Wimbledon and other tennis tournaments for ESPN.
And joining Patrick will be Chris McKendry, one of the most familiar faces and voices in tennis broadcasting, and Patrick's longtime partner for ESPN tennis coverage.

Open broadcasts, interviewing legends of the game, and helping shape how millions of fans experience the sport's biggest moments.

Patrick, growing up watching your brother John at Wimbledon and Chris coming to the tournament later as a broadcaster, what did each of you think Wimbledon meant before you actually got to experience it up close?
And then how did it change once you did go there yourselves?
So this grass discussion reminds me of golf and sometimes how the changes in types of grass can affect the play.
But also we made a lot of comparisons to Augusta National Golf Course in the course of our Wimbledon episode.
And the Augusta National is very famous for the restrictions and the preferred verbiage that they have for the announcers when they're broadcasting, right?
It's patrons and not fans, et cetera.
I'm wondering, are there any similar types of guidelines on what you can and can't say when you're broadcasting Wimbledon, Chris?
