I think they easily could be a playoff team.
If you tell me Dak plays 17 games, they got a lot more reinforcements.
And if Caleb Downs is immediately like rookie of the year type guy, to me they're a 10-11 win team.
So certainly from the news story angle, right, covering Liv is a lot different from joining Liv, right?
And I think even covering the tournament, what was interesting was that it felt like the tournament wasn't covered as a legitimate competitor to the PGA Tour, right?
And part of the problem was,
I'd say the main reason it did go belly up was it never got the type of TV rights fees anywhere near the PGA, right?
So that's why it failed.
It could never gain traction as a television event.
You know, really in this day and age, it doesn't matter how much the traditional print media covers you.
So it wasn't treated seriously by the TV, probably because they wanted to protect their relationships with the PGA Tour, right?
I'm not going to risk-
jeopardizing my relationship with the Masters or with the U.S.
Open to televise live golf, right?
Even if they had some of the bigger names in the sport at that.
It didn't gain traction as a televised event.
It felt like the traditional print media never really covered it.
They covered the formation of it.
That was huge news, right?
And I think it was treated as such.
