Well, that's right.
I think originally, you know, when you look at our migrants of past, it's always been about, yeah, I speak my language at home, but I'm an Aussie.
I speak English.
You know, we create our own Australian culture.
It's fundamentally that's what it's about.
And, you know, you are right.
When you bring a hell of a lot more people in here than we can handle, then...
Yeah, I don't necessarily I don't like the idea that, you know, community groups kind of have their own little enclaves because I suppose it's not what I grew up with in Australia.
I grew up with us all being part of one another's lives, you know, regardless of ethnicity.
We're all part of one another's lives, which I suppose is why, you know, my kids have got such a mixed background as well.
And I think it's about striking that balance and getting that back ultimately.
That's what we need to restore here in Australia.
But part of that is also saying you adopt our values and no, don't import your extremism.
Don't import your religious laws.
We don't need that here.
And also, let's start looking after our most marginalized here and get our act together on that before we think we can save people from other parts of the world over here.
Yeah, I've heard a lot of Aboriginal people who raise sort of concerns along those lines.
And, I mean, we should... The problem with this government is the fact that they play on minorities to their benefit as well.
It's that whole divide and conquer element, which, you know, I know that they've done that with Indigenous Australians since forever and a day and now they're doing that with the migrant community as well.
