His recovery, like, he really takes it seriously.
And you can see that on the ice.
You know, like, his motor, I think, is unmatched.
That's probably...
one of the best aspects of his game.
And that doesn't just happen as a fluke.
You know, he puts, he puts a lot into it, but I think he also does a really good job of, you know, like he's what, 19 years old and off the ice, like he enjoys, you know, like being around the guys, having fun, laughing and joking around.
So I think that's probably why he can be so good.
So consistently is because he doesn't always have to be like, you know, he's not always necessarily the most serious, you know, like one guy to be around.
He's an awesome teammate, which is like,
I think it's a perfect mix where you're excited to be around him off the ice and just joke around, you know, have a good time at dinner or whatever you're doing.
And then, you know, on the ice, he's awesome to compete with and to learn from that way.
Um, yeah, you know what, we didn't have a ton of conversations throughout the year.
We kind of just wanted to see, see how the year would play out, which for me was nice just to be focused on just playing and, you know, helping our hockey team, which is always the most important thing, whether you need a new deal or you're, you know, you've got a bunch of years left.
I think it always comes down to just playing, helping the team.
So that was the focus.
And I think you touched on CA.
It helps me, you know, having agents that I know are respected.
I know they've been in the business for a while and I can trust them.
And, you know, for me, keep my focus on playing.
