Yeah, I think you can't really understand why Rabramovich was so successful without thinking about the landscape of English football that he walked into, which was basically a landscape where there was very little regulation, very little pushback.

Um, I don't really th unless I'm missing something, I don't really think his takeover of Chelsea was really challenged by anyone anywhere when he bought it in 2003.

Uh the fit and proper persons test, I believe, was introduced the following year.

There was certainly nothing resembling financial fair play or uh or PSR or SCR or anything like that.

And so English football was really ripe for this kind of takeover.

Uh it was very easy to if if you had the money and the ambition and the wit and the will to do it, it was very easy to come in and really change things.
