baseball movie but there's this thing that happens in this movie where you know there's this guy that lives in the in the house behind the field and he's got a dog that they kind of build up is like this demon and anytime they hit these kids playing on the sand like they hit a ball hit a home run and it goes over there and they got to go fetch this ball from this demon because they don't have and they make this oh it's such a huge deal and it's like a monster back there end of the movie happens and they actually meet the guy and confront the dog and
And super sweet dog.
The guy is super nice guy, you know, and but they make him out to be this in their head.
And there's there's a little bit of that that happens with Gus this season where I think, you know, the timeline, we forget how long ago this this stuff really happened.
And some of the allegations and the things surrounding Gus are.
are are rough man and so we build this this this almost like a caricature uh almost like a disney villain in our heads that is capable of these terrible things and very well could be um but it's also a phenomenon i saw a lot when i was working for the prison system
know we handled the death penalty and and so i would see a lot of these guys that had done just unspeakable things and were on death row and i'd meet them i knew their story and i had a certain set of expectations i walk in the room i'm like this is just a this is just an old man you know there's nothing and i i it was the same sensation hearing from him in this episode um because that that's all that he i mean i said that's all that he was that
again, we create things in our head just to fill in the gaps when they're not there sometimes.
