He's an unbelievable coach.
The respect that he has for us as players, as people, for our families, for the city.
He's the perfect coach for us here.
Yeah, I guess, I guess the easiest way to probably go about that would be, um,
I mean, everything that I have, my family, my life, my hockey career, everything is just a gift from God.
And he sent his son to die on the cross for my sins to save me.
And without that, I'd be spending an eternity separated from him.
And so him being willing to sacrifice his own life for me wants me, well, I want to live my life for him in every aspect, whether that's with my family, whether that's with
relationships of friends, whether that's for him.
And so in order to do that, I have to be willing to be obedient to how he calls me to live, but also be willing to be generous because obviously he was generous with giving us his own life.
And so when it comes to finances, when it comes to
just being in the community, like we're called, I'm called to be, I'm called to be a light in this world.
And so I want to do that in every aspect.
Um, when it comes to the adoption story, my wife just always had adoption on her heart from the time she was 10 years old.
And we're actually, when we were dating, we were talking about it.
I was like, I'm not, I'm not sure I want to adopt.
She's like, well, that's going to be a deal breaker for me.
Okay.
And so I was like, all right, fine.
We can adopt whatever.
