And that is exactly correct, right?
He is, I think, experimenting with how much they can turn the dial to make politically incorrect, i.e.
racist and anti-Semitic tropes and all this stuff, acceptable publicly.
And what we're seeing right now- Is that fair, right, when she says-
Grok is Elon or Elon is Grok?
You know, what we're seeing here is that it, like every chatbot, is trying to take a lot, a lot of information that it gets from the internet and turn it into a single understanding.
But clearly, it's being told, be a little less woke than you have been in the past.
So there's definitely a flavor of...
Elon's political, you know, what we presume to be his political opinions, you know, are getting out there.
But here's the point I want to make, Tom, is that when we look at this now, we can clearly see this is crazy and this is totally unacceptable and it's really gross.
And you can spot the places where the thing has gone crazy and has, you know, sort of gone off script here.
Right.
But it's just the beginning.
For me, the thing that I think everybody needs to worry about is that this is going to get better.
It's going to be better and smoother and slicker and more responsive to the point where we're really, I worry we're going to get to a world where you really can't
feel its influence on you as clearly as you can spot it right now.
Right now, our allergic reaction is incredibly strong because we see this clearly as, you know, a robot gone wild, right?
But in the future, that's not necessarily going to be the case.
And there is, I wrote a book called The Loop and one of the, about sort of warning about what's coming with AI.
And one of the big lessons that everybody learned was in the 1960s when a guy named Joseph Weisenbaum built a chatbot, one of the first chatbots ever.
