Unfortunately for him, it doesn't seem that any of that has worked.
Trump could, of course, snap his figures and tell the FTC or the DOJ to just drop these things.
But at the moment, it turns out that Trump is going to be pushing forward with the same kind of stuff that Biden's administration was.
And so right now, at the moment, the big tech players are going to be facing
the same kind of scrutiny they would have otherwise.
And so in the coming weeks, the trial is expected to last about eight weeks.
We're going to see former COO Sheryl Sandberg.
We're going to see chief technology officer, the Boz, Bosworth is his name, Andrew Bosworth.
These folks are going to take the stand.
And so the thing that the government has to basically do is prove that if they hadn't
bought WhatsApp and Instagram, Facebook would not be as competitive a player.
It's a very difficult thing to do, but we're going to learn a huge amount about the thinking of these executives and their strategies, the way that they built this world-changing behemoth in ways that we wouldn't have learned about otherwise.
Are smartphones bad for kids?
This is the question that's been bothering parents like me for a long time, ever since we've had kids or ever since they've been smartphones.
And a new study out of the University of South Florida has a lot of people talking, and they're especially talking about the possibility that perhaps it's not as bad as we think, that we don't actually have to be as worried about smartphones or keep kids away from them as much as we thought we did.
So that study, I want to talk about it and the sort of general difficulty we have in figuring things out about this and the general scientific takeaway that we have so far.
So this study in particular is out of the University of South Florida.
It was a study of 1,500 kids in Florida who were asked a bunch of questions on a survey about how they experience life and how they experience life through social media and through their smartphone.
And the takeaways, which have been in a lot of interviews and in a lot of media, are generally speaking that the ownership of a smartphone itself may not actually be
