People talk about being a real, true rugby man and you're not going to get deeper roots than Leo Cullen.
What he's done as a player, as a coach, his interaction with other coaches, his ability to share knowledge.
I know that Leinster are very open to having coaches come and spend time there and learn from whatever they do.
So I'm sure that people in Leinster would be very appreciative, as are a lot of coaches and players who've played and coached with him, to know how valuable he is as a rugby man.
Stranger things have happened in rugby, haven't they, Neil?
If you asked me a year ago if I was coaching the Bulls next year, I would have said yes.
Look, I think it's difficult, Neil, because there is never a right time.
And I think, to be fair to Leo, I think it's wonderful that he's telling people he's moving on.
He's now got a year to... And you said just now about the timing.
It's a World Cup year next year.
So there's going to be a lot of outside influences into the Leinster set-up either way.
players going to the World Cup, players having to go to longer periods of time away from the Leinster camp, blooding some youngsters for next year while the World Cup guys are now up and away.
So I think 12 years, I mean, I think Leo himself, he knows deep down whether it's the right time.
Coaches are like that.
Sometimes it's not your call.
I mean, sometimes you can get tapped on the shoulder by an outside influence and sometimes it's not your call.
Unfortunately, that's the nature of the game we're in.
But I do think that, as Bernard says, I think it's a good way for Leinster to get a breath of fresh air.
I think they've been there in their abouts and they will always be there in their abouts.
They can now take their time.
