Uh well one thing's for sure is that energy costs are the driving cost factor that are going to feature heavily in the budget no matter what decision we take.
So what we've heard from uh my party leader, uh finance minister Simon Harris is that there is going to be a significant uh personal tax packet in this budget.
One of it
What's one of one of four budgets to come, and obviously by directing your personal tax package, literally putting more money back into your pockets, that will have an impact.
But we've also identified that clearly there are some sectors of the energy crisis that are even more pronounced than others.
Home heating oil, not as common in Dublin, but a big issue outside of Dublin.
And the Finance Minister has really signalled that there will be measures to directly address.
Address that issue.
So combined with the personal tax package, specific measures when it comes to energy, obviously in addition to the measures we've already taken, are going to make a difference.
But there's no question, I mean, this is going to be a current challenge, a medium term challenge and a future challenge, and and we know why that is.
It's because of events that are taking place internationally.

And he said, Well actually well maybe we'll do it tailored.
So I don't think there are no.
would give it to everybody.
But but i in any event in any event, uh at the end of the day, you know, David outlined other costs that are impacting people, childcare costs.
You know, uh every increase in energy increases the cost that people are putting in their grocery bag every single week.
So what we're trying to do by having a personal tax package, which is not something that will be in the Sinn Fein alternative budget, is to support, you know, working people, people that get up early in the morning, the coping classes.
