Uh people who are struggling, maybe they don't have the same uh access to social welfare payments that other people uh in society do, and it's to try to make sure that people who are really on the margins that they're the ones who get support in this budget, and that is what we will be targeting through the.

Well, I people at home are are really struggling because of these costs.

And I s look as a government, what we have to do is to the best of the revenues that we have that we're generating from the kind of economy that we have in this country, is to support those people in a way that is sustainable for our finances.

And I suppose what's clear and what Simon Harris has made clear is that, you know, this is there are four budgets left in the lifetime of this government.

In this budget we are going to give a personal tax package

uh to the tune of one point one, one point two billion, depending on where the where the numbers lie, and that will make a difference to people uh in their pockets, putting more money back into their pockets.

But w we know the challenges are going to c continue.

Fair increases is not something that, you know, uh anyone wants to see happening, but at the end of the day what what the major government stopped them.

We saw the big announcements uh uh in recent times about m Metrolink which is is is going to be built.

Uh it is so much better in terms of the high frequency bus routes in particular.

Um i in most areas of Dublin now with more to be rolled out.

There are issues with ghost buses because there's actually over demand uh for for buses and we need to provide more buses for people to get access to them.

Uh there are Lewis extension plans for Fingless.

I want to see one in in Pool Beg uh and again that is being progressed.

So we are continuing to see long term investment in public transport and I suppose in
