I think it I think it is look, I I take the point you're making, but I do think it is sometimes easy to sort of turn this into a you know, people who use public transport versus people who have to use a car.

know, David keeps talking about higher income earners, but like I don't know, you know, David, do you think it's fair that people who are on average incomes or median incomes are subject to the higher rate of income tax?
I mean that is what we're talking about doing here.
We're just simply talking about increasing the income the the lowering the amount of income that you pay the higher rate in tax for average income income.
But a minority, a small minority of uh taxpayers are on the higher rate.
Well it's average income.
I mean the average incomes are currently paying
The median incomes are currently paying the higher rate of income tax.
The numbers are working on the biggest thing.
And we are an outlier.
And how you address those, like you said, David, yourself, there in terms of tax credits, in terms of cost of childcare, in terms of working income payment.
We are doing both things.
All our budgets are always progressive, but we do have to give back to the people who aren't benefiting from either of those measures.
