So, yeah, I think a lot of people are counting on to that now.
are a few investors um out and about the yields aren't as great um as they were a few years ago just talking to a colleague of mine who deals with uh with a lot of investors and i think you know the magic number that they're all looking for sort of eight to ten percent and um to really achieve a yield that high uh
You know, you've got to be buying a house that's relatively cheap.
And I think, you know, gone are the days you can swan into Invercargill and buy a really nice house for 350 grand.
You can buy a house for 350 grand.
It's probably going to be a really small two bedder or it's not going to be the best house on the street, shall we say.
The yields are still there.
You've just got to buy well, but...
Yeah, like I said, they aren't as high as they once were.
But yeah, they sort of play in that same bracket as first-time buyers, which, as I mentioned, is definitely probably the most buoyant part of our marketplace.
Yeah, look, a bit of a mix, to be honest with you.
Definitely a few mum and dad investors, but I would say certainly some, I guess, younger couples.
I'll put myself in that category, 45.
People may be looking for their first investment property, their second investment property.
So yeah, a real mix of investors out and about.
Mate, those wide streets alone are a pretty good reason to move down here, aren't they?

Yeah, look, it's interesting.
I have family that live at Hobsonville Point in Auckland, which just, that place blows my mind because we have nothing like that down here.
