But I understand what people mean when they say like, yeah, I think that, you know, there is a, like when we die, I think we become something eternal.

And I think we, you know, become, I think in our absence,

sometimes we're easier to see.

And that's a really cool thing.

And I think, again, there's a lot to learn about love in that.

Because I think when the person you love is there, it's really easy to forget they're there.

And then when they go away for a little while,

You're like, oh, you know, the silence is loud.

You know, like the scent of them not being here, like you just get used to the scent of things.

And then when you come home after you've been away, like the scent of your home smells so good, you know, but you're home, you don't smell it anymore.

You're just, you know, you've never discovered water wasn't fish.

So I think that there's a lot to learn.

And it's funny to me that like how much you can learn about love by thinking about things like loss.

But I think that those two things are very intimately tied to each other because I think the finite nature of life is part of what makes it so beautiful and precious.

You made a point I thought was super interesting about, you know, do we make our relationships choices like subsequent relationships as a reaction to the one before?
