So of the money it's getting, about US $4 billion comes from TV rights, you know, sold globally.

This will be in TV, you know, homes all around the world.

That's the biggest piece.

Another $2 or $2.5 billion in advertising, $1 billion or so in licensing, nearly US $3 billion in ticketing and hospitality.

And that's the big driver of the increase this year because there's so many more games, because they're holding them in these bigger stadiums, because they're holding them in a reasonably wealthy country like the US, they've jacked up prices.

I mean, that's where they're really going for the money grab.

It's in the actual tickets and hospitality, people going to the game, the big grounds.

I mean, there could be about six and a half million people attend.

Yeah.

Which would be about twice as many as the 2022 World Cup.

But all up, like I said, you're talking about 30% more than the last World Cup, 40% more than the World Cup before that.

The numbers are just going one way and they're really milking it for all it's worth.

Now, James, I asked you before, like what you think this says about the state of sport, but do you reckon, you mentioned the Olympics, do you reckon this puts pressure on something like the Olympics to go for longer just to try and squeeze more money?

Well, not sure about that, but I think what this tournament is going to do is it feels to me like a peak of commercialization.

It's setting a new bar of commercialization.

This is a business with a sport on the side of it.

And I think we've seen world sports go this way.

We've seen private equity get involved in sporting teams.

We've seen the commercialization and the sale of media rights become –

you know, much asset classes in their own right, basically.
