And she mentioned the amount of duplication the system has.
And this is one very small example where the curriculum is supposed to be run by the state.
Education is supposed to be run by the state.
So there's an entire team in the New South Wales government, in my case, that manages education.
schools and principals and school curriculum and all this kind of stuff but then at federal level we've got people who have ministerial positions and things to do with education and then you've got a department head that's earning over a million dollars a year or around a million dollars and there's all these duplicates and it's like but the department head meant earning a million dollars a year isn't managing a single school or a single principal or so it's like why are you getting a million dollars a year what it what are you directly overseeing
Well, this is exactly right.
Yeah.
What they don't realize, though, is before long, you can't vote them out.
You give them that much control that you're stuck with it.
And I think at the moment, we've got a lot of people in this country.
I want to keep saying young people, but it's not just young people.
We've got a lot of people that have simply been hoodwinked.
They haven't done their research and they believe some mass media articles and, you know, they vote left.
And they don't realize that the more we go down that trajectory, like the left hate oppression.
And it's like, these regimes end in oppression.
You're fighting for us to go on a trajectory where our freedoms are stripped away.
You know, my husband and I talk about this all the time, where he can't remember a time, well, certainly not in his life, certainly not in my life, where government has just had such a hand in our lives.
