Why did everyone sleep?

I don't remember.

I was a kid.

I've never actually sat down and asked.

I've never asked the questions, but obviously my mom was saying that there was rats, there was this, there was that, there was a hole in the ceiling.

It's just my mom...

And she done all this because of like an upbringing that we had in Slovakia.

Obviously we was like one of the, me and my two brothers, we were like the only people of color or some sort of color in the whole of Slovakia.

And like...

I never went to school there, but my two brothers, they went to school.

And what was the kind of turning point was like how my brother got treated in school.

So my mom was like, ain't really going to have much of a future here.

So my mom was like, so my dad was like, let's pack our stuff and go to England.

You're talking obviously 2005, 2006, where like,

So I don't want to say, and I don't, I don't want to overstep or say anything that I don't, I don't know too much about, but I think there was a slight bit of racism everywhere.

So, I mean, no matter, only in Slovakia, I think if you came here, there was, there was going to be, um, if he came to the UK, there was going to be some sort of discrimination to a particular group.

Do you, do you, do you, but then growing up, did you experience racism?

Not that I can remember.
