I mean, you know, even my husband, when he read it, he was just like, I feel like I get you fully now.
Like in every moment of every day, I understand why.
why you react the way you do, why you are.
He was like, I wish every partner could read like a memoir of their partner because it's just, it's their story.
It's where they come from.
It's just, it was really beautiful to get his reaction.
Then even from my own mother, you know, there was obviously so much that she didn't know.
I didn't let people in.
Yeah.
For a myriad of reasons.
And, you know, one of the things that I was so moved by was she felt proud of herself.
She said, I did the best I could with what I had.
And I watched my mother my whole life just be so insecure and feel so...
less than and invaluable and for her to see just how important she has been and all that she's done for my brothers and I and all that she's been through honoring her trauma and her life with such a beautiful gift I didn't expect.
And then just from people that I don't know, I got this message the other day.
I've never opened up public DMs before I put out a memoir because I was like, it's just all gonna be like dick pics and like asking for my feet.
By the way, times get hard.
I'm going to monetize that.
But since the memoir, it's been so beautiful to see people
feel like moved to reach out to me after reading it.
