I have some students that I'm working with who are writing about it.
It's exciting to see voices emerging from that space, which was very, don't talk about this, don't question things.
And they're writing about it really well.
Oh, gosh, that's a very heavy question for a Thursday morning.
I don't belong to a church and I haven't for quite a while now.
I think this is being super honest.
If I lived somewhere that wasn't Northern Ireland, I probably could find a church space that would be open minded and open.
creative and engaging enough.
I just, when I try to go to churches here, I get really frustrated.
But I do think I still have a faith.
And for me, it's been a difficult, but I think really beautiful process of taking the time to sort through the
the faith that I was handed and to decide what I actually believe.
A lot of my generation, my friends that I grew up with in this world, they're either still in it or they threw the baby out with the bathwater and they don't believe anything now.
And I completely understand that, you know, you get free of it and it feels like you can breathe.
And I didn't want to do that.
I wanted to carefully select and go, do you know what?
I was brought up with one of the biblical values was that, you know, people are holy because they're made in the image of God.
And it's not a bad way to go through life, trying to see the inherent holiness in everybody that you encounter.
That's a lovely thing to hold on to.
There are premises like the idea of Sabbath and resting, which I don't do very well, but I aspire to.
