I'm not, my line on children is individual ones are fine, but the breed as a whole is probably not my thing.
I'll be very honest, I think it depends where you live.
When I'm in Belfast or Derry or some of the bigger cities, no one asks me, you know, are you thinking about getting married and having a few babies?
But when I go home to more rural places, and I think that's the same across the whole of Ireland, there are still some of those expectations.
And it's been lovely to see, you know, I've spent a lot of time in Ballymena recently and to see a groundswell of like interested writers and creatives and people challenging the norms coming from there now as well.
Yeah.
So I wrote my first book when I was working in a shopping mall in Ballymena.
And that's where my blue plaque's going to go up when I get really famous.

There are two shopping centres in Ballymena.
And I wrote in my coffee brick or my lunch brick in the coffee island.
And I think that was a really healthy way to start because, you know, a lot of writers, when you go on to publish, you don't have these huge like sways of uninterrupted time.
You write in the margins of life.
And writers are still people.
They have caring responsibilities.
They have partners.
