States I can remember living in Georgia, Don, when there was no investment in Georgia.

Georgia was written off.

It was a wasteland politically.

But if you don't invest time and energy in the state, you won't be able to bring out the voters.

But look what has happened to Georgia.

And there are other states that are near that tipping point, like Virginia, like North Carolina.

There are other states where the investment

and time and energy and money too, but time and energy, the more people understand how public policy and the government affects their lives, the more willing they are to be enthusiastic about it.

That's why tomorrow we're launching what we call our eight state, all state strategy, where we are hitting the streets, hitting the phones, hitting the text messages, reminding people, get registered, check your voting status, make sure you're registered.

and go vote up and down the ballot, not just for president, but all of these races matter to you and to the communities where we live.

I think that there are two things.

One, there's a positive message there.

And so there's something, there's substance.

But you have to admit there's also a good bit of swagger.

Anytime you get Megan Thee Stallion and Quavo and these cultural figures aligned and Beyonce saying, use my song, and that plays a role in it too, particularly with younger voters.

So there's excitement and energy.

But you still got to do the work.

And that hard work means knocking on doors, passing out leaflets, making phone calls.

And it won't happen with all of that combined.

Well, NCNW doesn't take sides in partisan political races, but I will say this.
