It's a lifetime commitment.
So although NCNW and the Divine Nine are nonpartisan organizations, we neither support nor oppose candidates for partisan political office.
Having said that, though, we are intensely concerned about public policy and the citizenship rights that we all need to exercise.
And I expect them, along with NCNW, the Divine Nine sororities are all affiliates of NCNW, along with 33 other women's organizations like
Jack and Jill, top ladies of distinction, you name them, all across the country in 33 states.
The LINCS is one of them, absolutely.
They are National Black Nurses Association, the Knights of Peter Claver, Women's Missionary Society of the AME Church, lots of varied organizations.
And it's not based on class or educational attainment, but those who want to make
for better citizenship and better opportunity.
We focus on education.
We focus on social justice, health equity, and of course, economic opportunity.
And if you stay right in that lane, you will attract followers and you will engender enthusiasm because in the end, people want what's better for them and their children.
In the states that matter, the enthusiasm won't be in Michigan and Pennsylvania and North Carolina and Georgia.

Well, your point is well taken.
I do think the enthusiasm will be there, but here's the caveat.
You still have to do the work.
We have to do the work of registering voters.
We're focused heavily on 17 to 24 year olds working with high schools and youth groups across the country, across our footprint.
And while the presidential race will be fought out in the seven or eight state battleground, we're committed to all 33 states where we have members, including
