That part wasn't surprising.
I believe it can be.
And I think you have to credit some of the Harris campaign's message discipline about what is the line, not just so you can get by, but so you can get ahead.
You know, putting it in very simple terms, very direct terms.
And then for some of us who are sort of policy nerds like me,
You dig through Project 2025 and you see a definite preference for private interest over public interest.
They talk about tax cuts, doing away with student loan debt deferments, raising mortgage insurance premiums to make home buying more expensive.
And people are not that gullible.
There's been enough coverage thanks to the media that people know that what is in this playbook, Project 2025,
is not necessarily in their best interest.
That we're better off when people can organize unions and join them and bargain for better working conditions.
We're better off when we invest in infrastructure, all of us.
And it's not just about a few mega millionaires in Silicon Valley, it's about what's best for most people.
Well, a hundred year history of Black women coming together to fight for freedom and justice and equality and all those values that we hold dear is not anything new.
And when you talk about the four Black women sororities that are the best known, Zeta Phi Beta, Sigma Gamma Rho, AKA and Delta Sigma Theta.
They always worked to turn out the vote.
When Bethune founded NCNW in 1935, that was one of the principal reasons to galvanize the power, the energy, the imagination, the commitment of Black women to creating not a partisan divide, but creating better living conditions for all of them.
And that survives today.
And it's not a college time commitment.
