White House Chief of Staff Susie Wiles says she's been diagnosed with breast cancer.

In a statement, she says she's grateful doctors detected the cancer early and that she'll continue in her role at the White House as she undergoes treatment.

The 68-year-old didn't offer more details about the treatment, but President Trump praised her, saying she's an amazing fighter.

Breast cancer is one of the most common cancers women face, and the American Cancer Society estimates more than 321,000 women will be diagnosed this year.
