The Collins Lee ideas very likely got infused into this family network.
And so you've got a sensitive government program and an informal non-government network intersecting and becoming kind of one thing.
And so the spread of this theory and the spread of these Christians spreading these ideas grows through the family network is what it looks like.
But there's another component as well as a third factor because Valet and his colleagues suggest that the Collins elite may have emerged from Fordham University.
This is where it gets really confusing because the family network starts in 1930.
The Collins Elite program in the Air Force starts in the late 40s.
The Fordham University strand starts in the 60s and 70s, according to Vallée.
So it's a little bit confusing.
But here's what I think is going on.
Fordham University is a very high establishment university, but it's also a Catholic university.
And Catholicism also has a stake here.
The Catholic Church has always resisted every single revolution that's come its way.
Scientific revolutions, people were put to death or locked up.
Philosophical revolutions, theological revolutions, like the Protestants coming out.
They literally fought wars to try and stop this other theological movement.
