You know, any idea is a good idea, like zoom way out and reflect deeply.
And there's just something about, you know, the way that a Zen to which he approaches kind of the timing of the year.
Right.
So leading an innovation team and over time, eventually building his trust, started to get leads and projects directly from him.
Like, hey, Jason, the team just had this intergalactic conversation with the CEO about the future of this.
And, of course, he knew that if he handed it over immediately to the account executive, you know, there might be a little bit of friction and a thud because, you know, we still needed to do some work to figure out what was it that we were going to actually do and talk about.
Uh, and, um, so as I got closer to Mark, you know, I, I really became fascinated because he was, he's just a different sort of leader.
So one of these moments that you asked was, um, we had a big meeting with, you know, one of the big us banks, um, coming up in a couple of weeks and, you know, Mark was maybe going to be involved.
We weren't sure.
Um, one of those sorts of things around calendars and logistics, and we find out that.
know completely out of the blue he decided to go to a local branch of this bank show up as a billionaire not tell anybody who he was just get in line and just experience it himself and we learn all of this because we get into the next prep call and his chief of staff gives us a whole debrief that he did this and to me i was i was in shock um and impressed me because
he was a billionaire who could have been doing many, many things.
But what he wanted to do was stand in line and really feel what it was like to just be another customer and bring that experience into the meeting that we were having with the CEO.
And as you can expect, that story went viral across the organization.
And if the CEO billionaire had time to go and stop by the local branch
and do some primary research and discovery, everybody else in the company better carve out time and do the same thing.
Now, is he going to be able to do that before every CEO meeting?
Of course not.
But I think he was modeling behavior.
And I think we've all heard it like words are important, but actions speak louder than words.
