So one of the things that he did was institute a new language for his team.
It sounds very, very simple.
Um, but language is a world model.
And so that it, you know, he banned the word change.
It's like, we're never going to use the word change ever again.
It's like, why people were sick of change.
Didn't we go through change last year?
2022 was the year of change management, more change.
Oh my God.
I'm going to roll my eyes.
I'm going to disconnect.
Instead, he focused on evolve and evolution.
Not only because, you know, think about it, Pfizer and the work that they do, it was right on brand, but who doesn't want to keep up with the Joneses?
Who doesn't want to get better at their craft?
And if you don't want to get better, then do you want to be a part of this team?
And so it's just one word and you see how many people throw around change and change management and join my change seminar.
But he was very thoughtful about how people actually responded to that one word.
And I think it's a great example.
That's the tip of the iceberg of work on communication for me as a former actor, I was rejected 500 times by the time I was 16.
So I almost feel like, how do I put my kids through that?
