So Simon Sinek has been well-documented his books around the importance of why another way of looking at it is we agree.
Clarity of why is really, really important, but you can't stop there.
When you think about innovation, so many people, their minds jump to what?
The tangible part of innovation.
What can I hold?
What can I see?
What is the tangible things that can create all this value?
But from everything that we studied, it's really combining why, clarity of purpose, with a focus on the infrastructure, the capabilities, the culture, the how,
And the result then becomes a steady, predictable stream of what to innovate.
And it's counterintuitive to many, many leaders.
So those are the sorts of things that I start to think about.
And I think that's the responsibility of leadership is to step in and ensure that there's that clarity of purpose.
So innovation can thrive within that frame.

And so, yeah, I have a couple of personal views, right?
As a parent, I've got four kids, one of my son's.
know adores and admires elon musk uh and in all honesty i've had a range of emotions around that i think you know the positive that i see and what i like about him is that he has no limits i think one of the things you know having made my career in innovation in trying to get people to invent the future um as human beings we have biases
